MN | Before I obtained a commercial license, we were custom farming a neighbors, this was start to finish we did everything for him. We just billed him X per corn acre and X per bean acre for the year. We use Iowa state #s. It is not cheap, over 100/acre which was only including fuel. For him, his acreage was so little that he could never have decent enough equipment and he didn't have the time to mess with it working full time, he still did ok-good yields and he was happy. Now I bill him separate for chemical application, he gets billed for the chemical direct from the coop. | |
