One of four things---

You stayed a "friend" too long and lost your chance and shes moving on (some women are only comfortable with "boy friends" and not just men friends)

She got to know you and other than a shoulder to cry on shes not interested .

third one- and if that is it= you should thank her for running scared. She was hurt too bad and hasn't recovered enough to have another relationship- so shes bailing even though she likes you. You can't fix her , but it was still good for her to have someone to voice her problems to.

All three she is afraid of hurting your feelings- so she is just going to jerk you around till you figure it out on your own. If its bothering you just corner her and tell her that you are fine with your relationship being just friends. Then encourage her to grow up :)

the fourth is you really creeped her out and she doesn't want to be around you. Please don't corner her and offer friendship :)
