If do both purchase and lease on the 7230R

Lease 5 years, $15070 a year, or $75350 of payments over the 5 years.

Purchase $173600, 20% down $34720, $138880 left over 5 years, or $31025 payment a year, will figure no repairs in both under warranty. Will value the tractor at $125k when done. Out of pocket expense $238245 over the term of the purchase, or $113k after what equity you have in tractor.

So you would have total out of pocket expense of $75350 on the lease, and $113k on the purchase over the 5 years, You would outlay $37895 more over the term of the purchase vs the lease.

But from a cashflow standpoint, you would save $15955 a year in payments alone, let alone the DP of $34720, so another $6944 a year to add to that saved cashflow standpoint, so $22899 a year in saved out of pocket expense, or $114495, of cashflow, so Bout $10k less then the equity you would have in the purchased tractor, so is $2k a year worth owning the tractor vs leasing, and knowing fixed cost, when from a cashflow standpoint, you could run a new tractor for half the payment a year?
