WC MN | I'm not sure you learned anything. I think you took everyone's justification and gave a reason why it does not make sense. Every farm is different, every piece of equipment is different. If there was an absolute right answer everybody would do things the same way. I shoot for lowest cost per acre. If that is a lease then that's what I do. I'm open to a lot of different options. I have done a lease on a grain bin, worked great because I have been able to make it pay for itself and not have the huge capital outlay. Keeping working capital at a high level is important to me.
Don't mean to sound harsh and I can see where leasing a vehicle doesn't make sense to you. I also see many times where people believe that what they do is right and everything else is wrong. Kind of surprised that a guy like you would need something like this explained. Not trying to talk you into leasing but for my farm paying cash for everything is not always the best use of my money. | |
