I do not have good access to chicken litter. I would have to get the chicken litter hauled in just as I would the lime. I'm located in Southeast and weather has been warm for this time of year. No killing frost yet ( which I have heard is best before planting wheat due to HESSIAN fly) and we are still pickin late crop of tomatoes. Insurance deadline for planting wheat was the 20th of November. Should have late planting period but will be penalized on crop coverage for each day after the deadline
Its been one of those catch 22 / 1 step forward 4 steps back situations this year getting things done.
