Same thing happened to use a couple of years ago. The hydraulic pump has all but gone out would be my guess. An 875 has a separate hydraulic pump that controls the steering so it tends to work about the same. Ours was caused by the "suck" hose between the hydraulic pump and the resevoir had worked loose and caused the pump to draw air and go out. We were able to limp ours along for a week or so after it happened but we had to stop on the ends to lift and even then the throttle had to be almost wide open.

I would look into getting a new pump but my guess is you are drawing air somewhere. If you are drawing air the hydraulic fluid will get frothy and a thin, almost a chocolate milk consistency after running for awhile.
