Lubbock, Texas
orange head to toe

no leather or fur no brown or earth tones

move clearly and in full view when you do move......when you are still have your back sided covered with a tree, ravine, rock, ect

leave nothing like a stand or a camera it WILL get stolen

KNOW what you are shooting at.....leave the "sound shots" for east Texas......if you are a "sound shot" kind of guy have a large shovel with you just in case

I would avoid any types of "calls" especially if you are actually good at sounding like the animal

the harder the area is to get to the less people there will be and generally the more "better" (poor English) the other hunters will be

be a good shot or be prepared to walk up on someone skinning out "their" kill....that looks just like your kill that you trailed up to them

have a good map to not trespass and of course not get lost
