I hear what you're saying but the 205 span takes 18 truss rods and they are about $400 each thru parts= $7200. I extended a 4000 series 170 to 185 last year and had an area dealer that wanted to move some extra inventory and I got the rods for $100 each, only needed four. If I can find some at or near that price, I would go that route, if not, then extending the span is really cost prohibitive considering it's a used span to start with.
