S.E. Sask. | I have salvaged a lot of old fence wire over the years. Never yet had to buy new barbed wire as I always seem to have some good used stuff on hand. I inherited a really simple effective home built hand powered wire winder. It works great. Once I've rolled it up full of wire I just spin off a couple of wing nuts that hold the two circles together, remove the roll of old wire, re=connect the two steel circles and go back to rolling. Wish I had a picture but it is far from the yard likely buried in a snowbank. Its a lot like the Payout roller pictured on the Ezee products page. |
