Ohio
Rotary straw sucks period. Why do you see ads wanting conventional straw? You leave some in the field because the baler can't pick up everything with it being so fine. I recommend a conventional Deere. Either a good 20 series which are hard to find or a 9000/9010 series. Since you are used to conventional straw from your 715 I'm willing to bet you won't like the rotary straw. I don't notice any absorbing difference between the 2. Do you use round bales? If so you won't be rolling them around the pen anymore to unroll/spread them. You cut the net wrap on a rotary round bale and all you have is a big blob.
