I tried some strip tilling after the vt machine and it was a mess!!!! The vt machine covers the trash with enough dirt and then does not flow threw the machine.
My best corn was strip tilled and planted using cows as a tillage machine. I have decided either vt then plant or strip till then plant. The vt and strip till together does not work for me. Each has it place and plan on doing both on next year's COC. Gravity irrigated ground get the vt and the pivots get striped tilled. | |
