Not to make light of your situation, but does involve cows and ponds..........
Went to see a dairy cow in southwestern Virginia one evening for what sounded like grass tetany, but she must have been really hyper, Before we arrived, she broke out of the barn and crossed a nearby pond before disappearing over the hill. I still have this mental picture of the cow traveling underwater like the cartoon characters with bubles coming up before emerging on the other side with a full head of steam.
Taking care of weak or down cows is a talent which is usually hard won. | |
