| 4440's? The average price of a 4440 in good usuable condition with low hours are bringing 26-32k. I can find plenty around 18-24k with lots of hours and worn out.
Low houred good shape 4430's though are in the 17-20k range. Should be able to find a good 7520 4wd for 8-10k, therefore my recommendation for buying that combo instead of the 4440. The 7520 will handle the planter better than the 4440, and that 4430 can do all the 540 pto work that the 4440 could do.
If not I'd look for a low houred 8000 series Allis Chalmers FWA. Should be able to get them for the same price as a 4440. | |
