Trenton, KY | We have a 4655 Spra-Coupe with a 60' boom and a manual transmission and it fits us very well for a 1,650 acre farm, and we cover about 9,000 acres a year with it. It really sips on fuel and I have checked ours three different times at .06 gal. / ac. running in 3rd gear wide open. I also believe that maintenance on the Coupes long term will be very reasonable because they are rather simple in design. We have a tow hitch but have never used it because we feel we gain enough efficiency in a days time to have a man mixing chemicals while Im spraying and then I radio him to pull up so I can wheel right up the truck on the endrows (most of our fields have a grass or gravel road at the end of them). If you'd be interested in the tow hitch my email is good. | |
