“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Neighbor kid has a military grade flip open phone, and it has a little hole on one end to run a lanyard cord in it. So he tied a heavy string or cord though it and loops it round his neck, then puts phone in his shirt pocket. I always wear shirts with button pockets, I got in the habit a long time ago when done with phone I button it up in pocket. It has become habit with me. I once set a old brick phone on a tractor tire as I was waiting for a phone call and couldn't hear it ring from where truck was parked. Well I ran over it, case wasn't crushed, but wouldn't pick up a signal. Took it into AT&T store, they said no problem it had a three year warranty on it! They fixed it. That was the days! LOL Give me my old bag phone back they worked great and you didn't have to pack it everywhere. |
