This really is interesting. Thank GOD farmers never in the last 30 years took GOV money. And who was president in 1987 when the GOv bailed out Chrysler for some resone I can't remember.
The president of Chrysler in 1987 would have been Lee Iacocca. The president of the USA would have been Ronald Reagan. I'm not sure what 1987 would have to do with Chrysler as the only government involvement may have been to verify the acquisition of AMC.
Perhaps you are thinking of the Chrysler loan of 1979. That's a bit before my time so I'm not sure who was president then... |
