Huh. Never thought of it that way, Pokey, but it does make sense.

I would add that when I post a reply to a question drawing on my own personal experience, having that reply attacked by an arrogant knowitall claiming my experience to be BS because HIS experience is to the contrary doesn't exactly encourage other guys to chime in. Since the way to learn is from experience, I prefer to leave room for debate, hearing what other guys have experienced in thier operations, rather than slamming the door on any replies that might add to the discussion, unlike the knowitall, who will tolerate no disagreements.

I kinda wish the knowitalls would stay in their own private facebook hells, but I'm not gonna insist that they be banned outright. They may be jerks, but they haven't violated posting policy, quite. They do make good examples in how NOT to behave.

And that's my opinion, worth exactly nothing.
