i would sight it in at 50 yards... then i would learn how the gun shoots at 20 yds and again at 75 yds...
anything past 75 yds and i would recommend a 17hmr...
a .22 is a good solid cheap caliber that is perfect for small game under 75 yards... not saying they wont do 100 because they most definitely will however there are other calibers far better for longer ranges...
