Highway 210 wouldn't be a lot out of the way. At least good way to get past Skunk and Des Moines rivers. West to 117 to north of Colfax to 210.
I found out one day that a 350 Chev pickup with trailer loaded with 8V71 and trans will be down to 35 on the hills on 80 east of Des Moines.
Jake's route is better. Not over 20 miles farther. No game at Ames tomorrow.
