Using omnistar xp with fm 750 display. I have two instances where convergence gets lost.
1. Driving down the road to a new field.
Did you happen to notice the amount of GPS satellites the receiver was tracking when you lost convergence? HP or XP needs to track at least 5 GPS satellites on both frequencies to stay converged. This is also one of the reasons running in either HP or XP mode near a treeline might be a bit tricky...

2. immediately lost convergence when I created a new field.
Also, i have noticed when the signal is converged not all of the signal bars are green,the last bar remains unlit. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
No useful input on this one from my side, I'm afraid. It just doesn't make sense that you lose convergence by doing something that's completely unrelated to OmniSTAR operation. |
