The engine isn't built the same time as the truck, they are usually stock piled from months in advance so you need to either check the engine date sticker or run the VIN to be sure. In some cases, not sure if all, the COP colors also indicate which version you have. Should be black or brown and I can't remember off the top of my head which is the later build. If it was built in 2/08 it most likely has the later style heads but would be best to just check the VIN or pull the number off a removed plug.
