North Central Kansas
Trakman we didn't see the Massey. We did see another combine on 80 that was cutting beans that they guy was out digging out the combine. We were amazed at how much drier it was in Nebraska compared to here. Here we have picked up some nice rains the last few weeks and things have greened back up. Our beans are still green and filling pods yet. The further North we went we noticed how the roadside ditches were getting browner. By the time we got to Geneva they were pretty much brown. At Grand Island I think it was the worst. That ground is pretty sandy and it was evident that they had not had much rain. Even the irrigated corn didn't look like it normally does.

We got .50 inch of rain overnight. That should help things for a few days. I hope everyone else caught some rain.
