Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | Price can be all over the place depending how you spec the machine. Big tires/cheap recaps, compter panel/basic panel, Two wheel tow/four wheel tow, drops/top impacts, 7000 gearboxes/8000 gearboxes.... etc. Our dealers love towables, because towables will make you want buy another one! In 2009, I bought 3 pivots for around $50/foot. I just bought two last week and they're now the same comparably equipped machine is around $75/foot. But ours are not the most basic. For $75/ft, you should be getting a Pro panel, Iwob drops, 8000 series gearboxes, 16.9-24 tires, weathering steel, boom backs, concrete pad, installed. All above ground equipment only. No wire, no pipe, no electric. Towable is probably going to be slightly more, especially with a short one like you want. The longer, the cheaper.
If you get a towable, get a panel that has a programmable stop position. That way when it's finished, you can program it to walk back dry so it's ready to tow when you get there. Don't get cheap 7000 series gearboxes. |
