We been running wheat pasture cattle for 35+ years some good some bad, On the seed wheat , we clean our own run a couple thousand bushels back thur the sieves on a r-62 gleaner does a nice job cleaning .
I'm wondering how it is looking this year ??? Calf prices already starting to go up the past couple weeks. Feeder prices still showing weakness. ??? Guys have been paying .65 on # gain. Pretty good deal for us poor dryland wheat farmers!
I'm not sure what you mean about the combine seed cleaning. You mean run the wheat back through the combine? I would like to learn more about this process. |
