a corn call won't help much if ethanol gets shut down, a corn put would probably rise in value if a third of our corn demand (ethanol) was temporarily shut off. a bean call might gain in value as soybean meal would be used to replace the DDGs in livestock rations. Hopefully we get enough production that the market will be able to sort things out without putting anyone out of business.
