Do you want a chainsaw for the future or do you just need one for this job? You might be able to rent or borrow one for this job cheaper than buying. This won't be popular, but if you are only working in the yard, you might consider an electric. much less maintenance, cheaper to buy, and sitting on the shelf won't effect how it works. If you want a saw, stihl or husqvarna would be my choices.
