NEMO | NEMO corn planted no-till in soy stubble april 26th. Started raining 4 days after planting and had water standing in the field. No rain since then. Had applied 150lbs. AN after planting and before rain. Ground dried very fast and cracked in the trench causing rooting problems. Roots have finally anchored corn but it is yellow as a pumpkin and it is a sick looking mess. I have the honor of having the worst looking corn in the area. Hoping for rain to see if nitrogen is there. loosing yield everyday that goes by. | |
