Dublin, MS | I always end up with about a 1.3 cut/fill ratio after running my calcs. That being said, I always leave my shrink/swell values at a 1:1. When I get done filling, if I have any extra after building pads, we just start filling on the other side of the pad. I dont use the shrink/swell factors because I cant tell densitys, moisture, etc, just make sure you have a little more cut in your field than fill.
