for yield mapping, tillage mapping, and some guidance applications, yes. But if you later decide you want better accuracy, with the 162 you're out of luck. So you spent $2k, and now you'll spend another $3k just to get a new WAAS-level 262 (or 372). Plus a $2k upgrade for the 262 to get better accuracy, and you've now spent an additional $5k, on top of the original $2k for the 162. If you go with the 262 now, you're spending an extra $1k up front, but you'll save money if you decide you need better accuracy.
