SE SD | I think you'll be fine. I've got a 250HP 3126 with a MD3060 Allison in a GMC single axle tractor and single hopper Jet trailer and I get along fine. Same 15 or so mile hauls with no big hills and I have no complaints with it hauling up to 650 bushels. I bought the setup last fall and at least around here the Freightliners were more expensive than the IHs. I went with the GMC because the dealer had a good used trailer and got a package deal. | |
