Subject: RE: Single Axle Semi FL70?

central - east central Minnesota -

Pvafarm - 3/9/2012 12:25 Looking for a single axle semi to pull a 650-700 bu hopper and short flat bed. Freightliner FL70, CAT 3126, 250 hp and auto with air ride suspension. Is this enough engine in combo with the auto tranny to pull this load? Mostly short hauls with the hopper, 10-25 miles and really no monster hills around here. Seems Freightliners are less money than the 4900/8100 IH's. Reason for this other than they aren't IH? TIA Tom

Could be - should be . . . .. what rear end gearing does it have ? What was it previous life used at?
