Minnesota | Need to make sure that you acknowledge the ISO message on the CAT display before powering up the NAV controller. Make sure that the CAT ISO translator firmare is version 283-3405-00 or newer.
When switching displays from EZ-Guide 500's to FM-750's I have had to swap a connector on the NAV harness to get everything to work. If I remember correctly the ISO CAN harness that connects to the CAT harness is plugged into connector P12 aux harness in the installation instructions, I think that needs to get switched to the P4 connector on the NAV main harness. May or may not have any bearing on the issues you are seeing. If the heading is 90 degrees off in the FMX, you will need to recalibrate the system and correct the controller orientatation. | |
