Subject: Re: Trimble autopilot fault 118

SE IL Mt.Erie, IL
OK we came to a conclusion after talking with another dealer. It was a cabling issue. Apparently the can cable is normally plugged into P4 on the FMX power bus which is where the instructions say to plug it. This wire needs to be plugged into the P12 connector on the Nav II harness. This issue arises when using any version of the fmx of 5.0 or higher. From ver 1 to ver 4 works fine when plugged into the P 4 connector.

We was also told to use a new profile which was 745B-875C can or something like that. We was using the MT700 can profile. Not sure if that will make any difference or not.

I'm not sure where my 765B is plugged in but I will check it and probably change it to P12 if its not already there. It seems to work with all the new updates now the way it is.

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help us and given us suggestions.
