It depends on your terrain. If you have terraces or unevan landscape in a field the planter can leave a couple hundred feet of seed that is to deep or worse, to shallow. Plus the flex can take some stress off of the planter by following the contour of the ground. Not sure where you are located but just put a flex 1760 up for sale if interested call. Brad 319-457-2182
