| All that setting you mentioned is for is to make the phone vibrate or not when the mute switch is on.
If you carry the phone in your pocket, you may have slid the mute switch accidentally when you grabbed it to put it in or pull it out of your pocket. Had it happen myself once. One good way to prevent it from happening again is to put it in a case. There are usually cut-outs for the side buttons and mute switch, but the case will help prevent an accidental mute. | |
