Check you voltage output on the battery you are using with the A5 portable base. Also check you voltage on the A5 itself in the tractor. Prolly not the issue but may be worth checking on. BTW it should be 12V or better. What are you r L1/L2 numbers looking like on the examine GPS? How long does it take to survey your position? Had you tried unplugging all your wiring harnesses/ blowing all dirt out from under where the cover for teh radio is on the top of the roof array. Once you unplug/unthread the wires then but a reasonable amount of dielectric grease at the junctions. Then retry to see what distance they will work. Just a couple of thoughts/tricks I have used when trouble shooting.
