roaming | The operator name that shows in the "Operator" window should "stick", regardless of Farm or Field. However, you can only have one Operator per Task. So if you start a Task with Operator "Joe", then switch to another Task and assign Operator "Frank", then when you switch back to the first Task, it will automatically switch back to Joe (I think).
Did you by chance create a lot of Tasks that you haven't used yet?
You can put an Operator window on any Run screen, so there's no need to go back to the Toolbox to select the Operator.
