Yes, that is correct, I was just in the process of explaining this further but FarmHawk23 beat me to it.

Yesterday we had a customer who came in and traded his Insight for an Integra. He had used the Insight for planting, harvesting and other operations for the past couple of years. If he had continued to use the Insight for harvesting this season the variety maps would be available as they are stored in the display.

Next year he will plant and harvest with the Integra so the variety maps will be available at harvest time.

Since he planted with the Insight but will be harvesting with the Integra he will need to use the .ref file concept this year only. Since the crop type was already listed in the mangement tree it was not necessary to change the Crop type.

We made .ref files of all his fields for him and put them on the new USB stick that came with his Integra. I viewed them on an Integra to be certain that they seemed correct.

I was surprised to find that a tile map that he had made was also present. It appears that he could view the tile map as long as he was in the combine. This might be useful for locating the tile lines. I'm thinking that this would need to be done with the combine since the combine modules would need to be present to be able to pick a combine configuration and then view the tile map.
