Clatonia, NE | As a dealer, I think that an online store could be good and dangerous. For those who don't have a good dealer close it could be good. For those who are tech savy enough it would work. Support is the key. I don't think it will compete with a local dealership unless they aren't providing the proper support. A good poll question would be "If you had the choice between buying from a local dealer who had good support and parts on hand verses from an online store, that might save you 5% off of your equipment, which would you choose?" I'd like to see what the answer would be. Support the local (good) dealer or save a few bucks??? I think (hope) in the end, the local dealer would win because of service. | |
