SmartBoom is strictly serial, not CAN at all. The biggest problem with what you are trying to do is that the SmartBoom/SmartRow controller are the same for both systems, and can easily be switched back and forth for the mode you want to run in. Accu-Boom and Accu-Row are physically different hardware, and you'd need a different node for each system. The reason I said it would be a no brainer to go with them if using the SmartSteer hooked up through CAN is that you will already have some of the CAN cables and components there, so it would hook right in. They will both hook up through the same CAN system, but you can't hook up two systems to communicate serially.
