| There are lots of frequencies out there that don't interfere with critical things like GPS. Our rural fire departments are going to narrow band radios to free up more frequencies - surely something else will be available. Why would they want these frequencies in the first place - no RF guys working for lightsquared? Why on earth would the FCC even think of granting rights to those frequencies - maybe some ultra low power appications, but certainly not high wattage blow torches like lightsquared is proposing. It's just really confusing - sounds like someone made a big mistake and they were too far down the road when they realized it.
