If you are looking for an extremely quick ROI, I found that if I do my own soil sampling I can save up to $5-6/ac vs the local co-op. Plus, I know how/when it was done.
I have found that with variable rate seeding, I have had the best luck with backing off the rate on the historically low yielding soils. | |
