I have put three of them on older tractors. Just not on any JD's. I would recommend looking at A&I for the parts. The lights are almost the same just a third of the cost. They do not flex like the ones from JD though. If that is important it is probaly worth the money to get the real mccoy. I do not have any picts currently to share though. I think they help alot with getting noticed on the roads. I wired mine in with the hazards so when they are turned on the beacon is running. Not on a seperate switch.
