Thumb of Michigan | I bought a refurbished desktop from Dell yesterday. It'll be the 3rd or 4th rebuilt we've gotten from them. No issues at all with any of them, software simply outgrew the cpu. We have a 580 Inspiron on the way. Already have a pretty new monitor, so just the desk top (think a new keyboard comes with it as well) should do the trick.
Our current desktop is XP, laptops are Windows 7. Never once have I updated a version of Windows and decided I was glad I did it. Old dogs and new tricks and all that. Guess I just adapted. Not sure I dislike XP, or that I really like 7. I have more trouble truthfully when I update my internet explorer. I hate it that the update seems to be knowingly dinking with my settings and doesn't ask me if its OK. I'll never learn to not do that either I suppose.
