You can open Windows Paint and then click on file, it should have "From Scanner or camera" listed. If you MP600 is on it should show up as a choice. If you want to scan something in and save it as a pdf file or scan something and send it via email and you can't find Canon Scan toolbox maybe you need to visit their download page and download the program.
