T-Mobile is GSM and there are some regionals left that are on GSM. Many of the AT&T phones can roam to CDMA for data purposes also. I have been on AT&T for 2 years now and nation wide coverage is not that bad. I had Nextel and Sprint before and AT&T beats them hands down. Your local coverage may vary.
