Subject: Saving HTML vs saving pdf?

Chebanse, IL.....

Am I right in saying that when I save an HTML of a form (monthly checking statement) that is not the same as actually saving a pdf of that same statement on my hard drive? An HTML is just an internet link to the hosting site, where the pdf resides, right? So, if hosting bank loses data, or I have no internet service, I'd also lose (or not be able to access) the form they are linking w/the HTML...right?

However, obviously when I download that same form as a pdf on my hd, then I have it forever.
