My desktop has done this twice, in both cases removing and re-seating the memory has fixed it.
I assume over its several years life, the connection gets a bit rough.
Worth trying, if wary of removing just try pressing them down a bit first.
Follow precautions when opening the case - before poking inside, make sure it's earthed after being unplugged...
PC won't boot up.
