Subject: RE: Pioneer and Dekalb Varieties?

N FLA
They promote 31G71 dryland, or they say that it is usually higher yielding than other varieties in low yielding (drought) conditions. That and 33V16 are the Pioneer recommendations for dryland here. V16 is very good dryland, but misses the bar on high yield irrigated. Here, most prefer V16 over G71 dryland.

Pioneer 1615 is two feet taller than everything else. Most dont like that. 116 day

67-88 is great in N FL, S GA. 117 day. So far it acts like the old 69-72, holds up well in high yield and stress. That might be something to look at, old 6972 (119 day). Its very reliable in my opinion, and is great dryland, and probably reasonable price. DK has a conventional version 697 also. Havent seen the other DK numbers.

I am always impressed by Dynagro.
