ok, so you have hit on the key point for me...what difference does it make if it is pure fertilizer chemistry or fertilizer chemistry housed in manure. Nitrogen is nitrogen, right? And if you start from seed in a non greenhouse environment (my basement) there is almost no likelihood of getting pests
